I’ve entered the Talenthouse competition to have my design used on Current Motors, for my design to win please vote for me here
I would really love to see my design zipping about on a scooter, specially an earth conscious one!
The competition was to be inspired by Earth Day.
Here’s a wee bit about my design –
Using my signature style I created a surface pattern of merged patterned fields and oceans around the planet and silhouettes of endangered species to capture the feeling of one world.
I researching Earth Day and focused on aerial views and endangered animals (rhino, whale, marine turtle and panda). To show my love of nature I included heart islands and fields. The final design was hand painted in ink and pen, then I played with colour combinations in CAD.
I am a Scottish textiles and surface pattern designer with nature at the heart of my designs. I have a distinctive rhythmic signature with a playful approach mixing succulent colour, energetic repetitive marks and silhouettes. My hand painted designs invites you to look closer amongst the pattern and silhouettes. I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 1999 with an Honours degree in Printed Textiles.
I would love to see my design on the earth conscientious brand of Current Motors Scooters.
