Have you spotted these vans around tayside?

I wanted to share a commission I did for local business Flora Gardening.

They liked my drawing style and thought my artwork would reflect their passion for their brand.  My design is on  vans to gardeners t-shirts.

So here’s how it all happened – We had a first initial meeting to get to the heart of what they wanted and for me to dig deeper into what would reflect their brand best.  I did my research and came back with some sketches of different ideas, compositions and colours.  They loved that I created all my designs by hand and worked closely with them to get the design to fit their needs.

In my final design I worked with their brand colours in a painterly way to show their passion and used imagery that showcased aspects of their business: formal flowers, speciality of maintenance of topiary, wild section and silhouette of a wheelbarrow that reflected the hard work, care, attention and knowledge of the business.
