For the whole of January I took part in Fun A Day, where you do something fun everyday in January. 25 creatives took part with a range of work from photography, paintings, illustrations, song lyrics, yoga poses, mark making and a zine. Exhibition on 13th & 14th February in Wasps Studios.

I love drawing, so for FUN A DAY I took time out each day to draw the things I love. I am inspired by journeys, ingredients, country life and the things around me. I see patterns everywhere! My decorative style retains the hand drawn qualities that adds uniqueness.
Fun A Day was done as an extra thing to my working week, mostly around my kitchen and having to juggle looking after my son – always encouraging him to be creative! For my final day I took myself outside to my favourite spot.
Drawing is an important part of my design process, it allows me to sketch and explore objects and ideas before developing into designs.
