Here’s my new illustrated greetings cards featuring the local Dundee Cake.

I love the pattern made by the almonds I was itching to draw it.  I love food and wanted to feature something local in my illustrations to celebrate the positive things about Dundee.  There is a real buzz in Dundee at the moment with the upcoming V&A Dundee being build, winning UNESCO City of Design, and I’m looking forward to the upcoming Dundee International Design Festival in May.

The Dundee Cake greetings cards are available in Black, Green and Indigo.  DCA (Dundee Contemporary Art) in Dundee and Jessies Kitchen in Broughty Ferry are stocking the cards, or you can contact me directly for some hello@louisekirby.com
